Phyllis Darlene Curtis

Phyllis was born August 20, 1944 in Toledo, Ohio, the youngest of five to Joseph and Cynthia Davis. She was a graduate of Libby High School and had a long career as a Data Analyst and Commercial Programmer.

She was a garden enthusiast with the ability to cultivate anything she planted. With her flourishing garden, she enjoyed sharing her bounty with her family and friends. Phyllis believed in leading an active lifestyle, Her favorite activities were aerobics and walking. You would have to be in shape in order to keep up with her or she would walk off and leave you. Phyllis is affectionately known as “The Favorite” whether that meant aunt, cousin or grandmamma. She will be remembered for her joyful spirit and beautiful smile. Phyllis never missed an opportunity to share a hug and tell you that she loved you.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her four brothers, John Davis, Joseph Davis, Eugene Davis and James Davis. Those left to cherish her memory include a son, Phillip Curtis (Tosha); a daughter, Andrea Hogue; four grandchildren, Andre Hogue, Jorden Robichaux, Allison Hogue, Anthony Curtis and a host of extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Phyllis’ honor by planting a tree.
