Rene LaBorde Neuffer

Rene LaBorde Neuffer, 68, passed away August 19, 2022 unexpectedly after a short illness at Prisma Richland Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of Claude Henry and Irene LaBorde Neuffer. Rene was the proud aunt of John Neuffer (Blythe), Katherine Hines (Cambridge) and Caroline Robinson (Ross). Rene loved her family, especially her nieces and nephew. She considered their children to be her own grandchildren. She was very proud to be a great aunt of five grand nieces and nephews and enjoyed having the entire group visiting with her over the recent Fourth of July holiday.

Rene was predeceased by her Father, Claude Henry Neuffer, her Mother, Irene LaBorde Neuffer and her brother Pierre LaBorde Neuffer. She is survived by her brother, Francis Henry Neuffer (Mary Kelly Neuffer).

A graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.

Donations and memorials may be made to St. John’s Episcopal student lunch program which aims to feed children in need outside of the normal school week.
