Victor S. Raj, 46, of Bridgeville, Pennsylvania, died Monday, April 19, 2021. Born on July 18, 1974 in Bourges, France, he grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania and attended Cathedral Preparatory High School. He received his bachelor and master’s degrees in biomedical engineering from Northwestern University and his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. He completed his Anesthesia residency and Cardiothoracic Anesthesia Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. He was also Board Certified in Anesthesia and Transesophageal Echo Cardiography. After his training, he cared for patients in the Pittsburgh area for 15 years as an anesthesiologist. Victor enjoyed tennis, sports cars, action movies, and spending time with his nieces and nephew.
He is survived by his parents, Stephen and Lalida Raj, siblings, Claire and David Raj, and brother and sister-in-law, Derek Black and Monica Lancellotti.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.
