GULFPORT, MISS. - William Howard “Bill” Kelley, 93, of The Armed Forces Retirement Home in Gulfport, Miss., died peacefully on September 6th, 2014, while in the company of family and friends. Mr. Kelley was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Margaret Odom Kelley. He proudly left his two sister-in-laws, Eleanor "Ellie" O'Shea Odom, Frances "Sue" Odom Stermer; their devoted 7 children and 27 grand-great-grand nieces and nephews. Bill served in the C.C.C., in the Army during WW II and the Korean War. He served in foreign theater and bravely fought many battles. He was always generous with his time and helped with many charities. He will be missed. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 13, 2014, in Elmwood Cemetery. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family.
