Randal (Randy) Lee Leonard, beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away suddenly on April 9, 2023 at the age of 67. He is survived by his wife Pamela of almost 40 years, son Anthony, daughter Kelly, Mother Joyce, sister Michele Carroll, many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father Allan, brother Kyle, and sister-in-law Sharon. Randy was born in Columbus, Ohio and had a lifelong passion for God, family, graphic novels, and BSA Scouts. He loved to cook, bake, and sample many different wines. Randy was an active member of choir and bell choir at the Northwest United Methodist Church. Randy took on many roles over the 33 years at the church where he affected the lives of many people in a positive way. He was the most kind, thoughtful, patient, caring and happy person with an infectious giggle. He loved sports, cruises, music and spending time with family and friends. He was a Buckeye fan, Browns fan and golf enthusiast. He graduated from Athens High School in 1974 and then double majored in computer science and mathematics at Ohio University where he graduated with honors. He was employed with Columbia Gas of Ohio for many years and sang in the Columbia Gas Chorus and finally retired from JP Morgan Chase as a Computer Programmer/Disaster Recovery Specialist in September 2022.
