Ann Hasbany

Ann graduated from Vanceboro High School and Bangor Eastern Maine Medical Center with her RN. As a registered nurse she worked in Massachusetts and Florida. Ann spent 25 years as an ER nurse at Concord Hospital and then 17 years with the Concord Regional VNA as a hospice nurse.

She was a member of the Ruth Chapter #16 order of Eastern Star and past matron of the former Bethany Chapter #61. She was a longtime member and former regent of the Buntin-Rumford-Webster Chapter of the NH DAR.

Ann volunteered with Tri Town Ambulance, Faith Food Panty and the Thrift Shop at St. Paul's Church. She was a Pembroke Library trustee, member and greeter at Pierce Manse, member of the NH Historical Society and the Allenstown Historical Society, and a guide at the Old Allenstown Meeting house.

Members of Ann’s family include her son, David Hasbany and his wife Corrine and their children, Brianna and Alex of Methuen, MA; her sister-in-law, Vicki Kneeland of Allenstown, NH; her nephew, Mark Kneeland and his wife, Wendy of Concord, NH; her niece, Barbara O’Brien Lane and her husband, Christopher of Chichester, NH; her nephew, Michael Kneeland and his wife Cynthia of Gales Ferry, CT; her niece, Lori Hellum Barber and her husband, Fred of Groton, Ct; her niece, Darcy Kneeland and her husband, Marc of Oakdale, CT; her nephew, Jeff Kneeland and his wife Carmen of Uncasville, CT; her niece Tracey and her husband Judd Moyer of CT and many great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 11am at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 21 Centre St. Concord. Interment will be held in the spring at Evergreen Cemetery in Pembroke.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the CRVNA Hospice House or the Pembroke Town Library.
