Catherine A Sica

She was raised in Floral Park, NY and attended Our Lady of Victory Parish School in Floral Park, NY; The Mary Louis Academy in Jamaica, NY; and was a distinguished graduate of St. Vincent’s Hospital School of Nursing in New York, NY. Upon her graduation from St. Vincent’s, she worked as an RN in the Medical ICU and in the Cardiac Care Unit.

Catherine has touched the lives of many people. Her fortitude, wisdom, kindness and profound faith will be imprinted upon all of our hearts.

She is survived by her father, Carl G. Sica of Bow, NH; brother Robert of Wilmington, DE; sister Nancy Reid and her husband Michael of Floral Park, NY; brother Thomas and his wife Margaret of Laconia, NH; sister Susan Howell-Hinchy of Floral Park, NY; five nieces and four nephews; as well as three grandnieces and one grandnephew .

She was predeceased by her mother, Jean.

A calling hour will be held on March 12, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at Christ the King Parish, followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. A committal service will be held at a later date at Queen of Peace Cemetery in Westbury, NY.
