

Loudon-Russell “Chip” Cochran Jr., 70, of Loudon died Saturday, December 31, 2016. Chip was born in Concord, NH on June 23, 1946 he was the son of Russell and Mildred (Gill) Cochran. He was a graduate of Concord High School class of 1965. Chip retired from the National Guard after many years of faithful service.
Chip found great joy in living in the Loudon Community. He worked at Kloeckner Metals for 51 years as a materials crew leader. A few of Chip's favorite things were fishing, Monarch Hockey games, state fairs, and the White Mountains. In addition to spending time with his grandchildren, he enjoyed Friday night dinners with the gang, and coffee at the Loudon Village Country Store, where he had a special table called Chip's Table.
Chip was predeceased by his father, Russell A. Cochran Sr.
His family members include his mother, Mildred (Gill) Cochran of Penacook; daughters, Jennifer Cochran of Loudon and Deborah Boynton of Bow; sons, Kevin Maguire and his wife Janet of Loudon and John Cochran and his wife Sharon of Charlotte, NC; sisters, Terri-Lee Cronin of Billerica, MA, Jill Engel of Pembroke, Cheryl Clattenburg and husband Mark of Pittsfield, Kathy Beaudoin and her husband Keith of Concord and Kelli Lord and her husband Scott of Broadview Heights, OH; beloved grandchildren, Tyler Simard Cochran, Trenton Holland, Russell Holland, Lacee Holland and Emma Holland all of Loudon, Alicia Boynton-Fernald of Concord, Brooke Boynton of Bow, Kate Lynne Cochran, Justin Cochran, Joseph Cochran; great-grandchildren, Jacob Fernald, Marshall Boynton-Simonton, Addison Boynton-Fernald; many nieces and nephews and special friends John Storrs, Wade Holland, George Koromilas and Eddie Dockham.
Calling hours will be held at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St. Concord from 11am to 3pm and 4pm to 8pm on Saturday, January 7, 2017. A funeral service will be held at Loudon Congregational Church, Church St. Loudon on Sunday January 8, 2017 at 3pm. A burial will be held in the spring.
