
Born on September 11, 1951, Chris was raised and educated as a psychologist in Pennsylvania and served with the Pennsylvania National Guard before settling in New Hampshire. Chris was a long-time employee of the State of New Hampshire, working for over twenty years at New Hampshire Hospital and ending his career with the Department of Corrections as a psychologist.
Survivors include his wife, Caroline Ajemian Hatala, his daughter, Emma Hatala, and his sister and brother, Mary and Tony Hatala, of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Denato Hatala, his father, John Hatala, and his brother, Mark Hatala.
A celebration of life service will be held at 6 p.m-8 p.m., Thursday, August 18, at the NH Audubon McLane Center, 84 Silk Farm Road, Concord, NH. All friends and family are welcome.
