Florence Mae Landry

Flo was born on November 27, 1939, to Robert and Marie O’Keefe of Penacook. She grew up in Penacook on Electric Ave and graduated from Penacook High School in 1957 where she met her husband. She and Bob loved to travel the US seeing different monuments along the way until he passed in 2005.

She worked at Concord Group Insurance and then was majority owner of R Landry & Sons. Flo loved watching her kids’ and grandkids’ sports, her beloved Red Sox’s, watching her favorite nascar driver #48, Jimmy Johnson, spending time with all of her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.

Flo was a great statistician who loved to keep the baseball book during all baseball games. She loved to take cruises with her daughters and their kids with the last one to celebrate her 85th birthday. She enjoyed weekly lunches with her great friend Joan Dufresne at Concord area restaurants bringing home carrot cake from the Red Blazer and breakfast from the Eggshell Restaurant.

She is survived by her sister, Donna Gnann of Penacook, her sister in-law Patty Mason, her brother in-law Andy (Wayne) Landry and his wife Kathy.

She is also survived by a large family of kids and grandkids that include her 6 children, Bob Jr. and his wife Karen, Robbin Landry, Roxanne Spencer and her husband Jim, Ron Landry and his wife Joan, Rick and his wife Lisa, and Rhonda Decato and her husband John that all live in the Town of Loudon.

She has 12 grandchildren, Heather, Jeff, Glendon, Tyler, Todd, Julie, Ryan, Ian, Travis, Nate, Jake, and Alec, and 12 great grandkids.

Calling hours for Florence will be held on Wednesday March 5th, from 4pm to 7 pm at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 North Main Street Concord, NH.03301. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday March 6th at 10:00 am, at the Immaculate Conception Church, 9 Bonney St. Penacook, NH, 03303.
