

Concord Hospital. She had resided at Presidential Oaks since July 2012 after her home had been
destroyed by fire and had experienced failing health over the past two months.
She was born November 26th, 1918 to Frederick and Flora (Field) Pope in Hillsborough, NH and
lived in the Concord area since 1938 where she graduated from Concord Business School.
She was predeceased by her 1st husband, Frank E. Beane Jr. and second husband Norman
Chapman, daughter Sylvia Struthers and son Frank E. Beane III, two brothers – Carlton & Walter Pope.
She is survived by her daughter – Susan and son-in-law Ronald Randlett of Concord and
daughter Sally Lester of Contoocook; Son David and daughter-in-law Estelle Beane of Miramar, FL and
daughter-in-law Jane Reed Beane of Boscawen. Her sister Ethel Howe of Tunbridge, VT, sister-in-law
Catherine Pope of Norwood, MA and sister-in-law Velma Pope of Antrim, 13 Grand Children, 31 Great
Grand Children, 9 Great Great Grand Children and several nieces and nephews.
She worked for Elliott Jewelers for over 38 years before retirement. She enjoyed crossword
puzzles, spending quality time with family and watching Lawrence Welk on Saturday nights.
Calling hours will be on Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 6pm-8pm at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Concord.
A celebration of life will be on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 11am at Trinity Baptist Church, 80 Clinton Street, Concord, followed by a burial at Blossom Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the church following the burial.
