Jean L. Normand

Born on October 25, 1928, in Olean, NY, and a resident of Concord since 1961, Jean Normand passed away suddenly on March 11, 2017, at home with her beloved husband by her side.

Devoted to her family, she will be remembered for being exceptionally active and helping others to the very end. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, dancing, watching her husband, Ralph on the golf course, as well as traveling and their many trips to Florida and other places. We will all miss our family gatherings and her cooking; especially the 13 pies she baked every year for Thanksgiving!

She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her best friend and adoring husband of 47 years, Ralph Normand; her brother, Richard Gardner and his wife Carol of Buffalo, NY; her sister, Joanne DeRose, of Buffalo, NY; her son, Robert “Tom” Littlejohns; her daughters, Donna Schoenfeld; Deborah Thackeray and her fiancé, Jeff Lordan; Pamela Littlejohns and her husband Calvin; son-in-law, Bob Olson, great granddaughter and many adoring grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as a host of other loving friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Edwin and Genevieve Gardner; daughter, Bonnie J. Olson; and brother, Donald Gardner.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Bennett Funeral Home at 11:30 a.m.; followed by graveside services at the NH State Veteran’s Cemetery. A Celebration of her Life will be held at the Concord Country Club beginning at 3:00 p.m.
