I met John in 1970 when I was a student @ NHH School of Nursing. He became a lifelong friend. Even if I had lost touch in recent years, I still feel the impact he had on my life. he was a great guy and always had a word of encouragement when needed. He will be missed. On behalf of my family, Clinton Patten of 34 Pembroke Road, I would like to express our deepest sympathies in the loss of John Bartlett.  My parents have known John and his late wife Betty  for many years. My mother and Betty worked together for years. As a child, I can remember John driving one of his daughters in a convertible in the Kiwanis Parade; John was dressed in a white suit and so proud of his daughter.   Virginia, your dad was a good friend to my family.  Please let us know if we can do anything.  Your dad was the best!  Dick Patten for Clinton and Debra Patten.

We will miss John very much, He was always so kind and patient.It was hard to see him get getting ill. We watched Peggy sit with him each and every day. He always knew she was there. We will miss him terribly.
