

Julia was born August 15, 1942 to William Babb and Cristabel Chamberlain in Concord. She was a graduate of Concord High School and upon graduation she worked at Britts Department Store for several years where she met the love of her life. On February 29, 1962, she married Milton S. Tasker and they settled in Concord where she stayed home and raised there three children.
Julia enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time at the ocean, and taking trips with her sisters. Her happiest times were when she was surrounded by family and friends.
Julia is survived by her husband Milton Tasker, daughters, Linda Elkins and her husband, Russell, of Loudon; Barbara McGahan and her husband Brendon, of Concord; son, Thomas Tasker and his partner, Gail Skidmore, of Webster, step-son Rick Tasker of Barnstead, and step-daughter Melanie Ekstrom of Pembroke. She is also survived by sisters, Pandora Martel and Liz Westgate and her brother Bud Phillips, as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is pre-deceased by her brothers, Jim Phillips, Freeman Phillips, and William Babb, and sisters Ann Simpson, Winona McGonigle Strobridge, Waneta Goodell and Diane Hodgman.
Friends and family are asked to join in remembering Judy on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 11:00 am at the First Congregational Church, 177 North Main St., Concord, NH. Immediately following the service there will be a celebration of life luncheon.
