

She was born on April 1, 1932 in Moretown, VT the youngest of Don and Freda (Reed) Fielder’s five children.
She graduated from Spaulding High School in 1950. In 1953 she went on to marry her husband James.
Marilyn was a devoted secretary to her husband’s office in their home for 30 years, along with raising five wonderful children.
Known to all as Nana, she was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She had a great love for cows and loons, but definitely not mice that her grandchildren would occasionally tease her with as gifts.
She enjoyed spending time at the family cottage on Partridge Lake in Littleton for the past 26 years where she developed her love for loons.
Marilyn is survived by her loving husband, James, of 60 years; her four children, sons John of Concord, Dan and his wife Judy of Loudon; daughters Susan and her husband Brad Marlatt of Buena Vista, VA, Cindy and her husband Ron Dubuc of Loudon; her eight grandchildren, Brian Marlatt and his wife Brandy, Tim Marlatt and his wife Casey, Rebecca Marlatt, all of Buena Vista, VA; Ryan Dubuc and his wife Abby, Holly Crowley and her husband Kevin of Saugus, MA, Danielle Varrill, Stephanie Beaton and her husband Lee, Beth Desmarais and her two children Jonah and Chloe; two great grandchildren, Hannah Dubuc and Chloe Marlatt; numerous nieces and nephews; and 8 grand-dogs, Kelsey, Tucker, Bailey, Hokie, Addie, Emma, Gunner and Stella.
She was predeceased by her son, David who died on April 6, 1978; and a nephew Bobby Fielder who died March 3, 1966.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 11am at the Wesley United Methodist Church, 79 Clinton Street, Concord.
