Patricia Jean Shorter

She was the beloved wife of Jeffrey W. Shorter, with whom she shared 54 wonderful, love-filled years of marriage.

Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Trish was the daughter of the late Edward F. Flynn and Alice R. (Brazas) Flynn. In 1990, Together with her husband, they owned and operated Granite Security Services, where she was known for her dedication, professionalism, and warm spirit.

Trish loved spending time at the beach, especially at Humarock Beach in Scituate, Massachusetts, where she found peace and joy by the ocean. She had a creative soul and enjoyed all forms of art-making, traveling, and exploring new places. She adored her pets and had a special place in her heart for everyone—truly an “auntie” to all who knew her, offering love, laughter, and support to family and friends alike.

In addition to her husband, Jeffrey, she is survived by her sisters-in-law Janice Shorter and Kathleen Pimental, and many loving nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the joy she brought into the lives of those around her.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, February 16, 2026 at 10:00 am in Christ the King Parish, 72 South Main St, Concord, New Hampshire. Burial is at the convenience of the family. A reception will follow the funeral mass at the Common Man, 25 Water Street, Concord, NH
