

Priscilla (Spicer) Robertson, 86 of Concord, NH died Friday, January 07, 2011, at Presidential Oaks Nursing Home in Concord, NH. She was born in Peabody, Mass and was a lifelong resident until moving to Concord in 1991. She was a 1941 graduate of Peabody High School and a member of the New England Championship Girls Basketball Team. She graduated from Pierce Secretarial School in 1942. She was a Senior Girl Scout Leader in Peabody and at the Salem Girl Scout camp.
During WWII, Priscilla worked in the special products division at Sylvania until she left to raise her family. Prior to rejoining the work force in 1967, she was an active member of the Salem Hospital volunteer program. She worked as a secretary in the business office and administration prior to helping develop and manage the Preventive Medicine /Occupational Health Unit. Priscilla retired in 1986 and loved to spend her time knitting special gifts for her family. A long time member of the South Congregational Church in Peabody, Mass, Priscilla sang in the choir, was a Past President of the Woman’s Association, was Co-President of the Couple’s Club and served as a volunteer church secretary for 14 years. After moving to Concord, she became an associate member of the Immanuel Community Church and served as president of the Ladies’ Guild.
Priscilla was predeceased by her husband, James Robertson. She is survived by a daughter Sally Reynolds of Concord, NH, a son Richard Robertson and his wife Judith of Belmont, NH, five grandchildren including Scott Robertson and his wife Beth of Rutland, VT., Amy Ketch and her husband Matthew of Old Town, ME., Brian Reynolds and his wife Shirley of Penacook, NH, Daniel Reynolds and his wife Cindy of Los Angeles, CA., and Mark Reynolds of Scottsdale, AZ., four great grandchildren and five step- great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 North Main Street, Concord, NH. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 11 AM at Bennett Funeral Home, officiated by Jim Guzofski of the Destiny Christian Church. Funeral services will also be held at 11AM on Friday, January 14, 2011 at the South Congregational Church, 60 Prospect Street, Peabody, MA with Reverend Grant Hoofnagle, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Peabody, MA.
