Ray was a machinist for 55 years for Samuel Eastman, East Concord, and Granite State Machine in Manchester, and had retired a few years ago.
Ray loved hunting and fishing, country music, but had a passion for NASCAR. His favorite drivers were Dale Earnhardt, (both Sr. & Jr). He would go to the Daytona 500 races and NH Motor Speedway races every year with his good friend, Bob Bruce, and other friends.
Ray will be dearly missed.
Ray leaves his daughter, Tammy Kirkpatrick of Scottsdale, Arizona; his brother, Freeman West and his wife, SherRee, and their children, Chris West and his family, Nick West and Kayla Anderson; his brother, Richard West and wife Mary, and their children, Justin and Joshua West and their families; Sally Eaton’s daughter Tracy Page, and her daughter, Selena Powell and her family, and Tracy’s son, Edward Mitchell Page and his family. He is predeceased by his stepfather, Freeman West; mother, Louise V. West and sister, Sally Eaton of Warner.
There will be no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 20, 2020 at 6:00pm at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Concord, NH.
Burial will be private.
