Robert E. Carlson

LOUDON – Robert E. “Bunny” Carlson, 76, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Concord Hospital, with his family at his side.

Robert was born in Concord, NH on December 10, 1938, the son of the late, Robert C.E. and Esther (Kellom) Carlson.

He graduated from Concord High School in 1956. He was a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran and proud to have been a Marine.

“Bunny” worked for Roy F. Weston for 30 years and prior to retirement was employed by CLD Engineers.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman and a great wood craftsman. He enjoyed time with family and with his beloved dog Raisin.

Family members include; his companion of 12 years, Jean Cooper, of Loudon, her children and their spouses. His sister, Mary Ellen Kenney and her husband Philip of Boscawen, sister-in-law Karen Carlson of Hopkinton, three grandchildren, Ashley, Garret & Jesse and one great-granddaughter, Kristen, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert & Esther, his daughters Kristin Roy and Holly Carlson, a sister Joanne Kilmister and brother-in-law Robert Kilmister, his brother Jon Carlson and a niece Susan Kilmister.

SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 11:00 AM at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, in Concord. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, in Concord.
