

Epsom – Robert M. Reeves, Jr., 72, died on Monday, July 7, 2014 at Brigham’s & Women’s Hospital, in Boston, Massachusetts.
Mr. Reeves was born on February 7, 1942, in Pittsfield, NH, the son of the late Robert M. and Phyllis (Hunt) Reeves, Sr.
He was a veteran and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Following he belonged to the Army National Guard for 28 years where he served as a First Sergeant.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Reeves was employed as a propane service supervisor for Palmer Gas Company.
Mr. Reeves was an avid golfer and enjoyed camping with his family. He was a member of the American Legion, Post #37, in Hooksett. He also was a member of the VFW, # 1005, in Florida and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Evergreen Lodge, Epsom, NH.
Member of his family include; his wife of 51 years, Gloria (Bourdon) Reeves, of Epsom, NH; a son, Robert M. Reeves, III, of (xxx); two daughters, Debra Reeves, of Epsom, NH; Tricia Reeves Lafond, of Loudon, NH; two grandchildren, Daniel Maurice Reeves and Kayla Grace Reeves, four brothers, Bruce Reeves, of Palm Bay, FL; Kevin Reeves, of Epsom; David Yeaton, of Sanbornton, NH; S. Dana Yeaton, of Epsom; one sister, Glenna Nutter, of Epsom, NH; many nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be Friday, July 11, 2014, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, in Concord. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Committal prayers with military honors will follow at Saint Jean-Baptiste Cemetery, in Allenstown.
It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial gifts to the American Heart Association, 2 Wall Street, #104, Manchester, NH 03101, in memory of Mr. Reeves.
