  I'm so sorry for your loss.  It has been a long haul for dear Aunt Ruthie, as well as, for you, Nancy and your respective children.  The fact that your Mom passed the same day as your Dad is certainly a spiritual coincident.  The almighty being definitely had an anniversary engagement for the two of them.  Just like my Dad passing away on Valentine's Day.  It was like giving my mother and father the perfect Valentine's gift to one another.  My Dad really missed her.  So, now the four of them are happy again.  Peace be with them-Amen.  I remember, so fondly, the Thanksgiving dinners at Grammie Blake's and looking forward to the throng who would be attending...I remember anticipating seeing you all there, Uncle Wesley and your dear Mom, both of them always smiling, sensitive and patiently listening to all the nieces/nephews stories.   After all the women/girls cleaned up the dishes and the men/boys watched football, we'd all play games (PIT, Canasta)  Then we'd watch the Wizard of Oz.  Those Thanksgiving dinners at Gram's were the BEST times evah!  Love to you all, Colleen (Blake Kenyon)

Susie and Nancy,  So sorry that your Mom has passed, but knowing that she is with your Dad is a great comfort to all of us.  I remember the great fun we had during Thanksgiving at Grammie and Grandpa Blake's house with both of you playing the piano.
