Diana was a member of Today’s Grace Church, and participated in many church plays. She enjoyed cooking and gardening, and adored her dogs. She was loved and cherished by her family.
Diana was preceded in death by her father, William Earl Todd; her mother, Verna Todd; and her sister, Patti Newton.
Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Bill Hughes; sons Kevin Bonner of Statesville, and Keith Bonner and wife, Terrie, of Hickory; daughter, Kim Higgins of Pennsylvania; brother, Jerry Todd and wife, Linda, of Laurenburg; sister Sandy Sylvia and husband, Manny, of Orlando, Florida; grandchildren, Timmy, Jennifer, Cody, Joshua, Danielle, Rebekka, Taylor, and Justin; and one great grandchild.
A service of remembrance will be held Monday, February 24, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. at the Drum Funeral Home Chapel in Conover. The Reverend Tony B. Martin will officiate.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:00-5:45 p.m. at Drum Funeral Home in Conover.
