

Everette “Ham” Lee Shook, age 83, of Claremont passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at his son’s home. Born August 7, 1938, he was the son of the late Ivey Leroy Shook and Vertie Edna Hedrick Shook.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Marilyn Shook; sons, David Lee Shook and Scotty Ray Shook; five brothers and two sisters.
Those left to cherish his memory are son, Corey Shook and wife, Wendy of Claremont; grandsons, Daniel Shook of Claremont, Codie Shook and fiancé Kelci Denney of Claremont, Scotty Shook and girlfriend Taylor Street of Boiling Springs; sister in laws, Ruby Shook and Helen Shook; Daughter in law Kim Fulbright and husband Keith, and Daughter in law Theresa (Tee Cee) Self Shook.
Ham was a loving father, husband, and grandfather. He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Claremont. He loved fishing and hunting. Ham was a wonderful storyteller and everyone enjoyed hearing his stories.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00pm, Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Claremont with Reverend Eric Hollar officiating.
Family will receive friends from 2:00pm to 2:45pm prior to the service.
