Gregory Scott Ramsey

Born November 12, 1965 in Catawba County, he was the son of Ronald Jack Ramsey and Rebecca Louise Whitener Ramsey.

He is preceded in death by a sister, Jackie Lynn Ramsey.

Gregory was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Conover, NC. He performed data processing for ATM machines. Gregory loved his family and friends. He never met a stranger and always had a smile.Computers were the passion of his life.

Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Ronald Jack Ramsey; his mother, Rebecca Louise Whitener Ramsey; brothers, Kevin Ramsey and wife, Kim of Conover, Brian Ramsey of Claremont; nieces, Katherine Leeann Ramsey and Karaline Rebecca Ramsey, both of Conover; and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at 3:00 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Conover, NC,

with Rev. Scott Johnson and Rev. Anton Lagoutine officiating. Burial will follow at St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. John’s Lutheran Church, 2126 St. John’s Church Rd., Conover, NC 28613.
