Jack Dale Bost

Jack received a Teacher’s Certificate at Mitchell College. He was self-employed as a brick contractor for over 35 years and retired from Fred T. Foard and CVCC.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his spouse of 36 years, Frances Sigmon Bost; as well as 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Nancy Harris Bost, sons, Steve Bost and wife, Maxine of Catawba, NC, Darryl Bost and wife, Alice of Mooresville, NC, Rex Bost and wife, Brenda of Raleigh, NC; step-son, Roger Harris and wife, Melanie of Morganton, NC, daughters, Lou Bost Hogston and husband, Rick of Valdese, NC, Deana Bost Carswell and husband, David of Valdese, NC, Jackie Harris Loren and wife, Sheila of Valdese, NC; sister, Nancy Arndt and husband, Allen of Maiden, NC; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grand-children; and 1 great-great grandchild.

The family will host a celebration of life at Drum Funeral Home in Conover on Thursday, June 1, from 5:00 p.m - 8:00 p.m.

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Crosslink Church at Rutherford College with Rev. Robert “Bob” Gober officiating. Burial will follow with military rites at Mt.View Cemetery.
