Born on December 29, 1934 in Macon County, NC, he was the son of the late Tom and Ollie Mason Mack. Ken was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp, serving in Korea during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Southern Furniture in Conover.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Ralph Mack and Joe Mack of Waynesville, NC, and Tom Mack Jr. of Clyde, NC; and two sisters, Ruth Lee and Rosalee Roberts, both of Hickory, NC.
Survivors include a sister, Mary Beth Cooper; sisters-in-law Helen Mack and Hazel Mack, all of Waynesville, NC; one brother, Dean Mack and wife Fleeta of Hickory, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Ken’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
