In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Donald E. Hoke and her sisters, Lorraine Warder and Patricia Ann White.
Jean was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. Jean enjoyed sewing, needlework, and she liked to travel. She loved to celebrate holidays. Jean was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Conover.
Those left to cherish Jean’s memory are her son, David E. Hoke; brother, Kenneth R. Chase (Marsha); niece, Susan Bahl; and nephew, Wilbert R. White.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 6175 St. Peter’s Church Rd., Conover, NC 28613.
A funeral service for Jean will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Peter Frank and Pastor Eric Hauss officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
