

Henrietta was born on December 29, 1942 in Claremont, NC. She was known for her fierce independence and love for her family. She had a gentle soul and spent her life serving her community as a social worker and later a banker in Atlanta, GA. When her father became ill, she moved home to Claremont to care for both of her parents.
She graduated from Bunker Hill High School and attended Catawba College for 2 years before transferring to Lenoir Rhyne and graduating in 1965 with a degree in Sociology. During Henrietta’s college years and beyond, she was an active member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority and was known as a matchmaker for the Zeta Tau Alpha women. She was a talented singer, a gift passed down from her mother’s family.
Henrietta was preceded in death by her father, Martin Samuel Keisler; mother, Fannie Mae Carpenter Keisler; and Brothers, Samuel Ray Keisler (Anisa Saad Keisler) and William Fred Keisler (Connie Hunt Keisler).
Those left to cherish Henrietta’s memory and celebrate her life are her sister, Janie Keisler Moser (Kermit); nieces, Shahanna Keisler Garner (Kevin), Aysha Keisler (David Kuhl), Sara Keisler, Natasha Keisler Bagley (Glenn), Jenna Marks (Dennis); nephews,
Shafi Keisler (Kelly), Marc Keisler (Desta), Patrick Keisler (Victoria), Marty Moser, (Heather), Robert Moser (Anna); great nieces, Athena, Natasha, Morgan, Olivia, Addison, Allie; and great nephews, Andrew, Evan, and Miles.
A celebration of Henrietta’s life will be held on Saturday, February 28th at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Claremont, NC at 1 o’clock in the afternoon. The celebration will be followed by a reception in the Fellowship Hall and burial at St. Mark’s Cemetery.
