Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Sam Propst. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by brothers, Nick Sigmon, George “Boots” Sigmon, Buddy Sigmon; sister Raenell Hunsucker; sister-in-law Shirley Sigmon; son-in-law Randall Widener.
Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Kim Breitzman (Randy) of Claremont and Lisa Widener of Catawba; grandchildren Shawn Breitzman of Cleveland, Heather Little of Claremont, Daniel Byers and Melia Byers of Catawba; great grandchildren Carter Breitzman and Avery Breitzman of Salisbury; sister-in-laws Cathy Sigmon of Claremont and Betty Sigmon of Charlotte; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Nancy worked in the furniture industry the majority of her life. She thoroughly enjoyed trips to the outer banks and visiting the light houses. Nancy was an avid Tarheel fan all the way.
A graveside service will be Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 4:00pm at St. Marks Cemetery in Claremont with Rev. Gary Haddock and Rev Heather Langan officiating.
