Peggy Lail Storey, 74, of Conover, NC died Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Catawba Regional Hospice in Newton. Born August 16, 1939 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edward and Louise Worley Lail.
She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Robert Jessey Storey; a daughter, Laura Leigh Storey; a sister Helen Matthews; and a brother Buddy R Lail.
Survivors include two sons, Geoffrey Wayne Storey of Taylorsville, Dennis Eugene Storey of Conover; two daughters, Kimberly Storey Morgan of Conover and Deborah Diane Moore of Conover; a brother, Dallard Lail of Conover; a sister, Kristine Melita Hedrick of Taylorsville, seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 8, 2014 in the chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Conover. Rev. Arthur Yount will officiate.
