A mass of Christian burial for loving wife, mother and sister, Barbara Ann Buckner, age 68, of New Waverly will be held on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in New Waverly with Father Dao Kim Nguyen as celebrant. Rite of interment will follow in Elmina Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, February 10, 2011 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. led by Monsignor John Malinowski at Cashner Funeral Home.
Barbara was born October 17, 1942 in Houston, Texas and passed away on February 7, 2011 in Conroe, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, James Buckner ; sons, Marvin Buckner and significant other, Cathy Hilton and Kervin Buckner and significant other C.K. Brzymialkiewicz; sisters, Vivian Tice and Kim Warhol; brother, Melvin Meleski; grandchildren, Justin Anderson, Kendall Buckner and Collin Buckner .
