She is preceded in death by her husband Steven Duane Spear, Grandparents – Clyde and Opal Lee, Neal Norris Sr. and Patricia Conant, Uncles Robert Melvin Lee and Neal Norris Conant, Jr. Belinda is survived by her parents Billy and Viola Lee of Montgomery, Texas, her Sisters and Brother-in-Laws Brenda and Douglas MacNaul of Willis, Texas, Billie Sue and Fred Avery of Port Neches, Texas, her nieces Julia Christine Anderson of Brookline, MA, Natalie Avery of Dallas, Texas, Amanda Castolenia of Bridge City, Texas, her nephew Garrett Wayne Jordan of Willis, Texas, her Aunt and Uncle Phillip and Heather Durnin of New Waverly, Texas, and her Mother in Law Pam Hansen of Huntington, IN.
Belinda was born on June 28, 1967 in Port Arthur, Texas. She was raised in Pasadena, Texas and graduated from Deer Park High School in May 1985. During high school she participated in the Deer Park Fighting Deer Marching Band and Flag Corp. After graduation Belinda attended San Jacinto Junior College and worked as a temporary employee for Anixter. In August of 1988, Belinda accepted a full-time position at Anixter. Belinda continued her education at University of Houston – Clear Lake graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration in May 1995. Belinda worked for Anixter for over 34 years, she was the recipient of several President Club Awards, as well as the Award of Excellence. She was a great salesperson and mentor.
Belinda and Steven were engaged June 1998 and married on October 2, 1999 in Montgomery, Texas. They enjoyed vacationing every year around their anniversary in the Caribbean.
Belinda enjoyed watching college sports, Texans football and the Astros. She could tell you the statistic of any player. She shared her love for shopping and make-up with her niece Julia. Belinda was known for always looking professional and “put together”.
The Celebration of Life for Belinda will be held at Metcalf Funeral Directors on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 10:00 am with her Brother in Law Fred Avery officiating.
