Carly Ann Maloney passed away peacefully in her parent’s arms on December 2, 2022, after a short battle with dilated/hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Carly was born on August 22, 2022, to Brandon and Kristin. Carly had the most joyous smile that could melt your heart and light up the room. Carly was destined to have a huge personality with her love for attention. She was angelic and perfect in every way. She loved being held by her parents and especially her big brother. Though her time with her family was too short, she touched many lives and was loved very deeply by those around her.
Carly is survived by her parents Brandon and Kristin and older brother Tyler; grandparents Wyatt and Patricia McCulloch; Raymond Maloney, Rosa Maloney; her Uncle Wyatt and Aunt Lauren; her cousins, Lyla, Lexi, and Livi; her Aunt Ashton and Uncle Craig Black; her cousins, Kaydence and Grace Leigh; Uncle Dylan McCulloch; Uncle Samuel Hebert; and Uncle Zackery Maloney; her cousins Ava, Alaina, and Mia. Great grandmother Joy McCulloch and Great Grandmother Juanita Rodriguez. She is also survived by numerous great aunts, great uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her Aunt Carly McCulloch, her great grandfather Leroy McCulloch; great grandfather Silvero Rodriguez; and great grandmother Billie Jean Maloney.
Due to the exceptional care she received at Texas Children’s as well as her medical diagnosis, we pray that the study of Carly’s condition will help other children with the same diagnosis. Therefore, in lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made in Carly’s honor to the Texas Children’s Heart Center in Downtown Houston.
Celebration of life will be held Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 10:00am in Cashner Colonial Hall with visitation one hour prior to service.
