Cathy Rae Slachta, age 69, of Sun Lakes, Arizona passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023. Cathy passed away at the home of her sister in Willis, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. She had retired to Sun Lakes, Arizona in 2007 after the death of her husband, Gene Slachta.
Cathy was preceded in death by her mother LeElla (Hoskin) Moore. Left behind is her father, Douglas Skidmore and other mother, Becky, sisters, Cindy Brown (Texas) and Cheryl (Michigan), Carol (Dave) (Texas). Brothers, Randy and Jeff Skidmore (Michigan), many nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed traveling, going to concerts, gardening and casinos. She had a caring heart, from providing time and food for the homeless to assistance for family and friends.
She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
