I am so saddened to learn of Cheryl's passing.  I spoke to her often and had the wonderful opportunity to meet her and have a lovely lunch.  I will miss our conversations.

She was a lovely lady.  I knew her from the Ritual  Breakfast and the various Texas Sci-Fi conventions.

I knew Cheryl in high school and invited her over after school one day and she played my mom's piano for me. What a talent! I have only the fondest memories of her.  If I could dedicate a piano piece in  Cheryl's memory it would be Zbigniew Preisner's "Farewell." 

God love you Cheryl. Sing with the angels.

It was a wonderful service and celebration of the life of a much loved lady. Thank you Mike for allowing me to be a part of it.

   Cheryl was such a sweet, wonderful person and I know the last few years were so tough on her with the illness. She could not have had a stronger, better husband caring for her than Mike Schneider.

I'm sad to hear of Cheryl's passing.  Her zest for life, vivacious spirit and ability to tell a good story (usually about Mike) always made me laugh.  Mike, I pray that God bring you strength at this time.  Cheryl will always be with you.

With greatest regrets for such a loss so young. God keeps the sweetest things for him self I am told. May she rest in the arms of the angels.

Cheryl was my daughter's piano teacher for 3 years. She was a wonderful teacher, and such a sweet, kind and talented lady. We loved hearing her stories about going to Colorado and looking for gems, and the adventures of her pet cats, and about the bands she played in.  She will be greatly missed. We would like to express our deepest sympathy to her husband and family.

We've lost a great spirit, friend, teacher and wife. Cheryl was a gracious person who always made those she was with feel important, and she really listened to other people, a somewhat vanishing trait. Mike, I hurt for you. Cheryl was such a kind, compassionate soul, and had such a love for her profession and music students. She was an inspiration, and a wonderful teacher. She will be missed by all of us who had the privilege of knowing her.

I'm so sorry to hear of Cheryl's passing. She was our neighbor when my two brothers and I were in school. We lived on Wateka and she lived two houses down from us. She and her brother Randy were in our house many times. So sorry to hear that she was ill. Mike, again I'm so sorry for your loss.

Thanks for always smiling. You always exemplified a very high quality of life as you taught your Hubby Mike to fish. Lol.  Then... unselfishly you let him teach me to fish also.  God also made you a fisherwoman of men. It was joy an honor to share your ever loving spirit. May GOD continue to keep you peacefully.

I always had the utmost respect and admiration for Cheryl. She will be deeply missed in the music community. So sorry I cannot be there for the memorial service. My prayers are with the family.

A light has left this world. Cheryl was a kind, compassionate, loving woman. Always made us smile, laugh, and feel joyous. She never turned away a friend. She will be so so missed. We wish we could attend the funeral. We will be there in our hearts. We love you, Cheryl, and will always keep you in our memories.

We are so saddened to hear of Cheryl's passing. She taught us a lot about gems and minerals and drew us maps to her "secret" locations for digging in Colorado. Why ? because it was one of her great passions in life and she loved  to share her knowledge .She will be missed.

I am so broken hearted to hear of Cheryl's passing.  We shared a love of rocks and making jewelry. Very saddened to learn this beautiful soul has returned home.  I will forever miss my amazing and incredible friend until we meet again.

I am so sorry to hear the news of Cheryl's passing. She and her brother randy lived two doors from us in southwest Houston. She came over and played 'WW2' with my brother and me. We had a great time playing together. Later in the 1980s, I reconnected with Cheryl and her husband Mike. Mike was in sales at KILT radio where I was a DJ. They were both members of the KILT Longneck Band. Cheryl always had a smile on her face. Mike, please accept my condolences and prayers.

I am saddened to hear of Cheryl's passing. Cheryl was a gifted musician, creative writer, and loving teacher. She will be missed by her colleagues at Conroe Music Teacher's Association. I will miss her sweet smile. I am so sorry for your loss.

Sorry I didn't know Cheryl.  I think I met your sister here in Conroe at a garage sale at my house.  I know your mom & dad are gone now, so I guess you'll see each other in the hereafter. Joyce was my cousin.  Looks like you had a very interesting life.  Rest in Peace
