Clarice Elaine Fogleman

Lola was born November 22nd, 1939, in Huntsville, TX. Her loving parents, Douglas and Pauline Richardson, raised her and her 6 brothers and sisters in the small town of Oakhurst, TX. She attended Coldspring High School where she graduated as the class salutatorian in 1957. After graduating from high school, she furthered her studies at the University of Houston.

Lola had a long career in the travel industry where she worked as a travel agent. Many of those years she worked at Fox Travel in Conroe, including part-time up until just recently. In her spare time, she loved to travel, read, walk and most of all spend time with her family. Lola would rarely miss any event that involved her family and she was always there to show her love and support.

Lola, with her strong faith in God, was a long-time and active member of Mims Baptist Church in Conroe, TX. Her passion to grow and learn more about Christ, and to share that with others, was evident in her 30+ years as a children’s Sunday school teacher at Mims.

Lola was a humble servant who expressed her love through caring for others and her family. Her life was lived for others, she gave without question and her presence was always heartwarming. After her passing, one of her siblings shared “Clarice was God’s blessing to us all”.

Lola was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Pauline Richardson, brothers Dean Richardson and Billy Richardson.

Lola is survived by her two sons Douglas Duanne Fogleman (Willie) and Devin Fogleman (Christy); her beloved grandchildren Jason Fogleman (Rachel); Gabe Fogleman (Katlyn); Hannah Ainsworth (Matt); Josh Fogleman; Allie Fogleman; Bryce Fogleman; sisters and brother she loved dearly: Joyce Currie; Georgia Lou Richardson; Jesse Richardson (Gwen) and Brenda Wilson (Steve); Laura Richardson; and many great grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.

John 11:25-26 "Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die."

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, June 8th, at Mims Baptist Church, 1609 Porter Road, Conroe, TX 77301.
