Daisy Aurelia Kellar

Daisy’s work career was healthcare centered. She worked as an LVN at the Doctor’s Hospital in Conroe, which is now HCA, and transitioned into a pharmacy technician. She retired after 35 years of service of helping the ill. Daisy enjoyed reading, painting, drawing, and sewing. She also enjoyed making wedding cakes and designing wedding flowers, a hobby that she turned into a business. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Daisy was also a fighter, she battled cancer three times and survived each.

Daisy was preceded in death by her husband William (Sonny) Kellar, grandson Brandon Richardson, her parents and sister Dixie Collins. She is survived by her children, Rachel Burch and husband Raymond, Paula Masterson and husband Billy, Diana Richardson, and Gracie Blanton and husband Randy, grandchildren Brandy Castillo and husband Paul, Stephanie Whaley and husband Waylon, Amanda Blanton, Carrie Downing and husband Doug, Amy Abell, Bethany Diamond and husband Corey, and Amber Richardson, great grandchildren Maddie Castillo, Paul Castillo, Brianna Richardson, Aiden Richardson, Jacob Richardson, Preston Blanton, Jackson Cater, Jefferson Downing, Harper Downing, Faith Downing, and Katie Downing. Numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends also survive.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with funeral services to begin at 2:00 p.m. Daisy will be laid to rest in the Garden Park Cemetery following services on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to the charity of your choice.
