Daniel Lewis Davis

Daniel L Davis went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, July 30, 2018. He was born October 10, 1939 in Dallas, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, Cleved Lewis Davis, Mother, Lila Lane Davis, Step Mother, Mazie Barton Davis and Brother, Durward Hoyt Davis.. He is survived by his wife, Pat, his high school sweetheart of 58 years, his son, Douglas Lee Davis and wife Angel, daughter, Dianna Davis Kalandros, husband Steve. Three granddaughters: Amanda Davis, Deanna Davis and Dio Davis and his nephew Dustin Davis. Daniel graduated with a B.S. from U.T Arlington while awarded a co-operative scholarship with Chance Vaught Aircraft and was later awarded a N.D.E.A. fellowship to Auburn University where he completed his M.S. Own company. Daniel also served in the Texas National Guard and did active duty with the

He and Pat to retire in Walden on Lake Conroe. Daniel was very community minded and always found a need to contribute. He served as a volunteer fireman with the Champions Area Fire Department. In Walden, he was a director on the HOA Board, a director on the MUD 8 board And was instrumental in obtaining a grant to establish WEMAT (Walden Emergency Management Action Team). He was awarded Citizen of the Year in 2004. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Walden Community Church on Saturday, August 25, at 11:00 am.
