Memorial service for David Olan Lawrence will be held Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 12:30pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. David was born March 3, 1928 in Alto, Texas and passed away April 30, 2012 in Conroe, Texas. David was a veteran of the Korean War. After serving in the war, he worked for Offenhauser, where he retired. He loved fishing in Galveston with his family and doing yard work, but most of all, David loved to just piddle. David is preceded in death by his loving wife, Rose Lawrence and by a daughter-in-law, Jamie Lawrence. He is survived by his children, Jimmie Lawrence, Bobby Lawrence, Jenell Sheehan and husband Joe and Belinda Carnes and husband Larry; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
