Debbie Kay McDonald

Debbie was born on April 2, 1940, Detroit, Michigan, and was the beloved daughter of Roy and Kathleen McCain. Debbie embraced the Catholic faith, which remains an important part of her life.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Vicki McDonald; her cherished grandchildren, Fred A. Shumard and Angela Ramirez; her great-grandchildren, Fernanda Ramirez, Gabriela Tatum, Cynthia Flores, Angel Ramirez, Leonardo Ramirez, Alexander Ramirez, Christopher Ramirez, and Jesse Ramirez; and her great-great-grandchildren, Esteban Flores, Cesar Barrera III, and Benjamin Flores.

Debbie is preceded in death by her loving spouse, Albert Conway McDonald; her parents, Roy and Kathleen McCain; and her siblings, Florence and Zannie McCain.

Memorial Services will be held on Monday,

January 12, 2026, at Metcalf Funeral Home, beginning at 5:00 p.m., with a service to follow at 6:30 p.m. Burial will take place on Tuesday,

January 13, 2026, at Forest Park Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m.

Debbie will be remembered for her deep love of family and the legacy of faith and devotion she leaves behind.
