Delrina "Susie" Sue Lucas

Susie was born on May 8, 1964 in Houston, Texas to Donald Lee Pool and Bebe Doris. Susie was married to Charlie Ray Lucas on July 14, 1979 and they had three children, Jason, Jessica and Kenneth.

Susie worked for Conroe ISD, Sam Houston Elementary for over 20 years and retired in 2017 to take care of her husband. She loved to gamble, fish, attend concerts and she played pool for the APA League, most of all she LOVED hanging out with her sisters!

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charlie Ray Lucas.

Susie is survived by her three children, Jason Lucas and his wife Cari, Jessica Dixon and her husband Michael, and Kenneth Lucas and his wife Amanda; grandchildren, Jade, Harper, Presley, Tyler and Hudson; brother, John D. Pool and his wife Elena; nephew, Caleb; niece, Natalie; sister in law, Lutricia “Dobber” Wood and her husband Eugene; cousin, Patricia Tillerson and her husband William; close “Sister” friends, Liz Gregory, Pat Doolen and Dianne Baylor; as well as other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Susie will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas. Funeral Services will occur Friday, August 30, 2024 beginning at 10:00 AM at Cashner Funeral Home. Immediately following will be a graveside service in Garden Park Cemetery.
