Donna Jean Cabness

Donna was born on August 22, 1954 to Donald and Janice Sturgeon in Coldwater, Michigan where she attended Coldwater High. She lived the last part of her life in Willis, Texas with her husband Bruce Cabness of 36 years. Together, they enjoyed boating on Lake Conroe, spending time with their grandchildren, and going to the casinos in Lake Charles.

Donna is predeceased by her parents, Donald and Janice Sturgeon. She is survived by her husband Bruce Cabness; her children, Hans McCullough, Sarah Coe, Nicole Campfield, and Mindy Mileski and son-in-law Jeff Mileski; grandchildren, Alyssa, Cameron, Cyndi, Kylee, Lauren, Samantha, Rylen, Peyton, and Emily; great grandchildren Logan and Addison; siblings, Micheal, James, Richard, and Nancy.

No matter where we each stand, together we can look upon the same sun, the same moon, and the same sky, so we are forever one family.

Funeral service will be held at First Methodist Church of Willis in the Historic Sanctuary on Saturday October 28, 2023 at 1:00pm. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.cashnerconroe.com for the Cabness family.
