Donna Nicole Jordan, age 61, passed away at her home in Montgomery, Texas on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, after a courageous battle with colon cancer. She was surrounded by the comfort of the place where she lovingly raised her children and built a life filled with warmth, faith, and devotion.
Donna was born on December 16, 1964, in Huntsville, Texas, to Joe and Bobbie Carmichael. She grew up in Huntsville, where she attended school and formed lifelong roots grounded in family, faith, and community.
Above all else, Donna loved her family and the Lord with her whole heart. She was a devoted mother not only to her own children, but to everyone she welcomed into her life. Her nurturing spirit, generous heart, and unwavering faith touched countless lives. Donna had a unique gift for making others feel loved, valued, and at home in her presence.
She found joy in life’s simple blessings—cheering on her Texans and Astros, sharing laughter with treasured friends, dancing without hesitation, and creating lasting memories with those she loved most. Her smile was warm, her laugh contagious, and her presence a true comfort to all who knew her.
Donna is survived by her father, Joe Carmichael; her brother, Joe Robert Carmichael; her son, Joshua Jordan; her daughter, Shelby Jordan; her soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Jessica Thomas; and her beloved granddaughter, Julianna Thomas. She also leaves behind her nephews Matthew, Luke, and Jacob Carmichael; her nieces Elizabeth, Christina, and Paisley Carmichael; and her cousins Rhonda and Billy Carmichael.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bobbie Carmichael.
Donna’s life was a beautiful reflection of love, faith, and selflessness. Though her passing leaves a deep void, her legacy of kindness, strength, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always cherished.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 5:00pm till 7:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 10:00am in the Cashner Colonial Chapel. Interment will follow at 1:00pm at Buffalo Cemetery in Buffalo, Texas.
