She was preceded in death by her son Gregory Wayne Broussard. She is survived by her son, Garrick Keith Broussard, three grandsons (Bryan Broussard, Corey Broussard and Blake Broussard), and three great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was a loving mother who raised her two boys with high standards. During their childhood years, she took on the role of baseball coach to help her boys learn the value of hard work and team effort. She loved and doted on her grandchildren with an open heart.
She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.
A funeral service for Dorothy will be held Friday, May 12, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX 77303, followed by a graveside from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
