Dorothy is survived by her husband of fifty-three years, Jerry Dennis; her children Tracy Dennis and Dawn Dennis Howard and husband Wesley Howard, along with her two granddaughters: Katelynn Howard and Sydney Howard. She is also survived by her siblings Pat Napoleone (Corine) and Rudy Napoleone(Nell). Dorothy is pre-deceased by her parents Charlie and Lola Napoleone, and siblings Chuck Napoleone, Vi Herrera(John), Bea Sanchez(Juan), and Louise Austin(Bill).
Dorothy was born August 1, 1944, in Albuquerque, New Mexico and graduated from St. Mary Catholic High School in Albuquerque. Upon graduation, Dorothy worked for the local phone company before meeting her husband, Jerry. Soon after Dorothy and Jerry were married in 1969, they relocated to the Houston area, finally making their home in Conroe in 1981.
Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed cruises with her husband and family, keeping up with her classmates from St. Mary Catholic High School in Albuquerque, she was the glue that kept the Napoleone family together keeping in contact with everyone, spending time doing genealogy research, spending time with those she loved, and her beloved dog, Zack. She was a devoted Catholic and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Conroe.
Dorothy will be greatly missed by her family and friends, and her kind spirit will be remembered forever.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Dorothy’s memory to the Houston Alzheimer’s Association.
A visitation for Dorothy will be held Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 9:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 109 N Frazier St, Conroe, Texas with the rosary starting at 9:30 AM. A funeral mass will occur immediately following at 10:00 AM. A private graveside service and interment will occur at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
