A visitation for Elbert “Slim” Davis, age 82, of Conroe will be held on Monday, December 26, 2011 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home. Elbert was born March 26, 1929 in Rosenberg, Texas and passed away on December 21, 2011 in Conroe, Texas. He is survived by his daughters, Alice Roberts and Melinda Gilliland and husband Bobby; daughter-in-law, Sue Lasiter; sister, Betty Joe Shoemaker; brothers, Monroe Davis and wife Ruth, Bob Davis and wife Shirley and Cecil Davis and wife Lena; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
