Elizabeth Ann Rogers was born May 27, 1931 in Carthage, Texas to Robert Phillip Hill and Essie B. Furrh Hill, and she went to her Heavenly home on May 22, 2018 in Montgomery, Texas at the age of 86. She married the love of her life, Walter E. Rogers on November 22, 1950 at the Memorial Baptist Church in Pasadena, Texas where they were former members. Elizabeth Ann had many passions in her life including golfing, where she was well known for hitting two hole in ones in the same day on the front nine at Bentwater, she was a great artist and loved to paint, member of the First Baptist Church in Conroe, a devout Christian, and was a caring and giving person. The most important thing in her life was family, and was affectionately known as Aunt Betsy. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Dorothy Reed and Mary Sue Briggs. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Walter E Rogers of Montgomery, Texas; sisters, Vallie Mae Allen of DeBerry, Texas and Billie Jean Lee of Willis, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Cashner Funeral Home on Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 10:30am-12:30pm with her funeral service beginning at 12:30pm in the Cashner Colonial Chapel with Dr. Jeff Berger officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden Park Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be: Scott Lee, Brian McGee, Chris McGee, Jeff McGee, Lane Sparks and Nolan Allen.
