Evelyn Gibson walked in the arms of her lord and savior on Thursday, April 24, 2014. She was born on September 22, 1922 in Elmina, Texas to her parents Frank L and Addie Capps Howard. Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, the love of her life Homer Gibson, four brothers and Two Sisters. She is survived by her son, Emmitt Gibson Everitt and wife Cheryl, daughter, Kathy Gibson Speer, sister, Jewell Kelley, four grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 10:00am in Cashner Colonial Chapel with burial to follow at Conroe Memorial park.
