Evelyn Shirlene Krause

Shirlene was born in Normangee, Texas to Roger and Evie Bell Datray on January 28, 1937. She was a longtime resident of Conroe, Texas and a member of New Life Christian Reform Church. She enjoyed painting flowers and landscapes, traveling, especially to New Mexico and Colorado, and watching WWE. She loved her canine companion, Lexi.

Shirlene was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Edwin Krause, her daughters Karen Wallace and Debra Sain and her parents Roger Jeff and Evie Bell. She is survived by her son Larry Krause and wife Lisa, grandchildren Scott Sain, Brent Sain, Brad Krause, Courtney Zuniga, Melissa Marion and Lindsey O’Dell, 10 great grandchildren, sister Darlene Treadaway, brother Jeff Datray and numerous other family members.

Funeral services are set for Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Cashner Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with visitation to begin at 9:00 a.m. Graveside services will follow in Mount Tabor Cemetery in Madisonville.
