Floyd Arnold Blake Sr., 86, of Conroe, Texas, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018. He was born on November 20, 1931, in Willis, Texas, to John Calvin and Mary Martiny Blake. He was preceded in death by his wife Ida Faye Patterson Blake; brother Calvin Lee Blake; sister Blanche Burt; great-grandson Mason Alvis and son-in-law Curtis Hall.
Floyd is survived by his son Floyd Arnold Blake Jr. and wife Betty Lou, daughter Darlene Blake Hall; grandchildren Kristy Christopher and husband Thomas, Tina Carter and husband Stuart, Karyn Plagens and husband Joe and Katie Espinoza and husband Robert; great-grandchildren Justin Alvis, Luke and Landri Blake Carter, Antonio and Elena Espinoza, Morgan and Brooklyn Christopher and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 2, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Metcalf Funeral Directors. Burial will follow at Copeland Chapel Cemetery.
